Echezo came out of a meeting between several people from the wine trade, with experience running the length of the category’s value chain — from the growers themselves to distribution and the restaurant floor.

Founder
Founder and former chief executive of Wine Source Group. The relationships behind Echezo’s allocations are his — the doors in Burgundy and Champagne that do not open to everyone.
Xavier Rousset
Master Sommelier · Co-founder
Passed the Master Sommelier examination at twenty-three, and went on to co-found several London restaurants.
Jules Pichon
Sommelier & bar manager
Gold medallist in the regional final of Un des Meilleurs Apprentis de France in sommellerie. Trained at the Royal Mansour and at Hélène Darroze’s Marsan. He is the one who will pour for you.
Celine Bannino
General Manager · Co-founder
Twenty-five years in international corporate roles, and most recently chief operating officer of the Juntos group here on the island. She runs Echezo day to day.
